Sadly we recently had to have our Jack Russell 16yrs put to sleep, he had developed dementia and we knew it had to happen. We put it off for as long as possible because we were so sad but eventually l made the call l had dreaded to Pet Doctors Hedge End. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness from the moment l made the call to book an appointment to the appointment itself they were so lovely. Although this is obviously part of their job on frequent occasions they were amazing. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness, much appreciated x

If I had the option to give 0, it would be that. Firstly, my pregnant friend was guilt tripped into giving my dog sickness tablets. He was taken to them whilst in her care, after eating a small amount of chocolate. She was told by the vet 'How would you feel if it was your dog' when my dog didn't even register on the poison scale. £250 later... I believe they have conned her out of money and taken advantage her. I have later spoken to my own vets, who would have given a poison phoneline which would have cost £60 instead of the £250. my only conclusion is that they wanted the money out of her, and stress the dog out. After finding out what happened, I put a claim into my insurance, who failed to get a response from them. I phoned to ask for an update and if I had all their information correct. I was then faced with a very hostile member of the reception team. I was told 'what am I even claiming for' I was told 'you are not even with us, do you expect us to be mind readers' when I was only trying to confirm they legitimacy of the insurance company contacting them. I have never experienced such bad customer service from receptionist at a vets. Most of them love animals, and love their jobs, clearly not here. Maybe training in customer service is needed...

These vets are amazing. I had a large pigeon in my garden today which was clearly really injured. I had no idea what to do and I have to admit I did feel abit silly calling them up. But they reassurred me I done the right thing by bringing him in. They did not make me feel like a time waster at all and reassured me pigeons are still living creatures and have feelings. Of course I knew this but people say they are flying rats riddled with diseases. The vet even came outside to the pigeon just incase of these things. The pigeon had been through some serious trauma and unfortunately could not be released back into the wild he would of only suffered very badly. Thankyou for being so kind hearted.

Ambra saved my cats life before Christmas and I'm so very grateful and the receptionist was also lovely and caring. Would register here without a doubt if it were a bit closer than my existing vets in Hamble. Thank you so much! Piggy is doing really well and big wees every day still :) Happy New Year from Lisa & Piggy xxx

If you love your animals as much as I love my cats Jonsnow and Wookie (which is a lot) then Pet Doctors Botley is for you. Absolutely fabulous, every time I attend with my cats I am always greeted with a warm welcome and my cats are treated with love and care and attention, which reassures me that my cats are in safe hands. The whole team at Pet Doctors Botley do a fantastic job especially at helping to keep me at ease when it comes to Jonsnow and Wookie having their vaccinations , it’s a Mum thing. Great customer service even during busy times and if Jonsnow and Wookie could talk I am sure they would highly agree with me.
